We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and proactive Montessori School Director to lead our prestigious school in Waxahachie . The ideal candidate is a passionate educational leader who believes in the Montessori philosophy, values strong relationships with children and families, and is dedicated to creating an exceptional learning environment while ensuring smooth day-to-day school operations. Key Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the school while ensuring compliance with all company policies and Texas Child Care Licensing regulations. Foster an authentic Montessori environment that supports children's independence, self-confidence, creativity, and lifelong love of learning. Ensure every child receives high-quality care and education in a safe, nurturing, and prepared Montessori classroom. Support and mentor teachers in implementing Montessori principles and maintaining consistent classroom standards. Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and staff through open and professional communication. Address parent concerns and student needs with compassion, professionalism, and timely resolution. Promote a positive image of Arka Montessori within the community and help maintain the school's reputation for educational excellence. Oversee enrollment, family engagement, and retention by providing exceptional customer service. Maintain accurate children's records, staff files, licensing documentation, and administrative reports. Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, schedule, and supervise teachers and support staff. Conduct staff evaluations, provide ongoing professional development, and create a positive, collaborative workplace culture. Assist in classrooms as needed, including covering staff breaks and supporting teachers during absences. Ensure compliance with all state, local, health, safety, and licensing requirements. Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve enrollment, operational, and educational goals. Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and fully prepared Montessori learning environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred. Montessori certification or experience working in a Montessori environment is strongly preferred. Previous leadership or management experience in a licensed childcare center or Montessori school. Strong knowledge of Texas Child Care Licensing regulations. Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to inspire, coach, and support teachers while building strong relationships with families. Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the Montessori philosophy.
