Role:

As an Assistant Director, you will work closely with the Center Director to ensure a positive, engaging, and well-organized learning environment. You'll provide hands-on leadership to staff, assist with center operations, and help maintain compliance with all state and organizational standards. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in leadership while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, families, and educators. Your Responsibilities Support daily center operations, ensuring smooth workflows and compliance with licensing regulations. Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, families, and children to create a welcoming and supportive community. Assist in mentoring and supporting teachers, fostering professional growth and high-quality educational practices. Help implement our ELM (Early Learning Matters) curriculum and ensure alignment with our E.P.I.C. Curriculum. Collaborate with leadership on scheduling, staffing, and center activities. Serve as a point of contact for families, addressing questions, concerns, and celebrating successes. Ensure a clean, safe, and well-equipped center that supports learning and exploration. Assist with administrative tasks, including documentation, compliance, and reporting. What We're Looking For Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred). Previous experience in an early childhood education setting, preferably in a leadership or administrative role. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood education. Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for supporting children, families, and staff. CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
