Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young children in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom where children can explore, learn, and grow. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports behavior management and positive interactions among children Conduct lesson planning tailored to individual needs, including special education and early intervention strategies Engage children in activities that enhance childhood development, including Montessori methods and classroom management techniques Monitor and document each child's progress through observations and assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable Foster effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children's milestones, behavior, and educational activities Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to childcare regulations and promotes child welfare Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is essential Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care and preschool curriculum development Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies is highly desirable Familiarity with teaching physical education, literacy education, math instruction, and tutoring techniques for young learners Knowledge of Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and children Previous private school or daycare experience will be considered an asset Join us in shaping the future by providing high-quality care and education to our youngest learners!
