This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the developmental journey of children, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a strong understanding of childhood development principles to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning space. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting families and collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality early education experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong learning. Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of children, incorporating literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and creative arts. Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies. Deliver child development instruction with a focus on early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs, including special education considerations. Conduct regular assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instructional adjustments. Communicate proactively with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child welfare or safety incidents. Maintain a safe and healthy environment by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols and implementing best practices in childcare and daycare settings. Experience Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as preschools, daycare centers, or private schools. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored for preschool-aged children. Hands-on experience with toddler care, childhood development theories, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and physical education activities for young learners. Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Knowledge of childhood development milestones, standardized testing procedures, and child welfare policies. Prior experience teaching literacy education, math concepts, or implementing inclusive practices for children with diverse needs is highly desirable.
