Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and tailored to diverse learners.
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and discovery.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster open communication.
- Observe and document progress; provide timely, constructive feedback to families.
- Implement early intervention strategies to support children needing extra help.
- Plan and facilitate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play.
- Keep the classroom organized, safe, and welcoming, with accessible materials for all children. Qualifications
- 12 Core ECE Units required.
- Experience in a preschool or private school setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development for early childhood education.
- Familiarity with special education practices and child welfare principles is a plus.
- Background in tutoring or individualized student support is beneficial.
- Knowledge of early intervention techniques for varied developmental needs is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with children, families, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
