25 per hour (8 hours per day) Length of Work Year 10 months Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Administrator of Early & Expanded Learning or designee, plans, organizes, and implements approved developmentally appropriate curriculum for the development of children enrolled in the District's early learning programs; provides a safe and nurturing learning environment conducive to the growth and development of all children. This position may work a schedule consistent with the needs of the District's early learning programs, which may differ from the regular school district calendar and work schedule. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications A) Child Development Teacher Permit with twenty-four units ECE/CD (Early Childhood Education/Child Development), including core courses, plus sixteen GE (General Education) units and one year experience (175 days at a minimum of 3 hours per day) working in an early learning and care setting, OR B) Current elementary teaching credential with 24 ECE/CD units and two years of experience in ECE or a childcare and development program. OR C) Child Development Associate Teacher Permit and a signed written agreement to complete requirements for a California Child Development Teacher Permit within two years of date of employment and one year of teaching experience in a licensed daycare center or comparable group childcare program.
