Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development across infant, preschool, and school age groups Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence Engage children in meaningful activities that support literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong partnerships Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child welfare incidents or concerns Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and special education or early intervention needs Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; previous classroom experience preferred Knowledge of child development principles, childhood education best practices, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with curriculum development for various age groups including infants through school age children Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members using strong interpersonal skills Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or early intervention are a plus Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols Experience with standardized testing or assessments in early childhood education is advantageous Passion for teaching young children with a focus on fostering growth in literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills Join us in shaping the future by providing exceptional care and education to our youngest learners! Pay:
