The Head Teacher I plans and implements developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum that supports social-emotional, cognitive, and language growth. Responsibilities include observing and documenting child progress, maintaining safe, nurturing routines, and integrating nutrition and health practices. The role mentors assistant staff, partners closely with families, and collaborates with specialists to ensure inclusion. The Head Teacher I participates in professional development, supports licensing and compliance, and contributes to a positive, mission-driven center culture.
