Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
  • Monitor and record children's progress, behavior, and development
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure the well-being and development of each child
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in children
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in early childhood education, or daycare setting
  • Knowledge of preschool and school age curriculum, and childhood development
  • Strong caregiving skills with the ability to provide emotional support to children
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
  • First aid and CPR certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
