About us Where the Wild Things Play Prechool is a play based child care center in Mariposa, CA serving children ages 6 weeks - 6 years. We are creative, engaging, rewarding and our goal is to build a team that cares for the children and school as a priority and understands the importance of a strong team. This means you have at least 15 units in child development or early childhood education, including Infant units. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children, be able to create a safe and nurturing environment, and have a strong understanding of early childhood development. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, providing individualized instruction, and monitoring the progress of each student. We are looking for someone who is patient, organized, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Create a positive learning environment for children. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children. Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians. Assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians. Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress. Ensure that all safety regulations are followed.
