MUST HAVE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, manage classroom activities, and build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Duties Develop and execute creative, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children across various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to support social development and emotional regulation. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings, reports, or informal updates. Collaborate with colleagues to plan special events, assessments, and individualized learning strategies that support children with special needs or in early intervention programs. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certifications. Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental progress, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor each child's growth effectively. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings; preschool teaching experience preferred. Strong knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education best practices, and classroom management strategies. Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content in areas such as literacy education, math, physical education, and behavior management. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR; familiarity with mandated reporting laws is essential. Experience working with children who have special needs or are receiving early intervention services is highly desirable. Ability to plan lessons effectively while adapting to the diverse needs of students across different developmental stages.
