• Provides support in the classroom/outdoor play to ensure a safe and educational environment.
• Assists the classroom in maintaining the hygiene and personal needs of the children.
• Assists with weekly planning and implementation of daily educational activities for
• -children.
• Assist in preparing classroom materials.
• Assist in sanitizing and maintaining a clean environment
• -Makes observations (written and/or verbal notations) of the children.
• Supports the social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs of each child.
• Maintains good communication with parents and co-workers. Abilities & Skills
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
• Must be flexible and able to work well with a diverse group of people Qualifications
• No experience required
• Experience in Head Start, Montessori, or Childcare Center (Preferred, not required ) .
• Minimum of 6 units in Child Development/Early Childhood or related field. ( Required )
• Associate Teacher Permit (Preferred not Required) Requirements
• Full time ( must be available Monday
• Friday ) / open availability
• Part
• time ( must be available at least 3 full days) no half days

• MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 6 ECE CHILD DEVELOPMENT UNITS OR RELATED COURSES
