This position may assist in infant/toddlers, young and older preschool, and school-age classroom when necessary. We are looking for someone who engages well with children, staff, and families while also helping provide a clean and safe environment. Must have all 12 ECE units and infant/toddler classes. Duties Assist lead teachers with classroom activities, lesson implementation, and child supervision to promote active learning and development. Support various classrooms by stepping into different roles as needed, ensuring consistent care and supervision for all children. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment following health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures. Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily updates, concerns, or questions about their child's progress and well-being. Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care activities to meet each child's developmental needs. Collaborate with team members to uphold classroom management standards and ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar early childhood settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision best practices is essential. Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred) is required or obtainable upon hire. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members is vital. Classroom management skills combined with patience and adaptability are key to success in this role.
