We are seeking teachers for classrooms serving children ages 3 - 5. At NPCC, we believe that an early childhood program should feel like a second home , a place where children feel safe, families feel welcomed, and educators feel supported and appreciated. We are a mid-sized, ministry-based early childhood program serving families in Darien and the surrounding communities. Our approach to teaching is rooted in the Project Approach, where children's curiosity, questions, and interests help shape their learning. We believe some of the most meaningful learning happens when teachers slow down, listen carefully, nurture relationships, and give children the freedom to explore, wonder, create, and play. You may be a great fit for our team if you are: Warm, patient, nurturing, and dependable. Someone who genuinely enjoys being with young children and finds joy in their questions, ideas, and discoveries.
