Overview The Riverfront Children's Center is seeking passionate and dedicated Early Education Teachers to join our team for the Infant Room. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children 6 weeks to 15 months old. The Infant Teacher, along with co -teacher, will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social/emotional skills, language development, and motor skills. Maintain classroom management through effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; 12 credits in Early Childhood Education; or willingness to enroll in an ECE program Experience working with children 6 weeks - 5 years old in an Early Education setting. Knowledge of childhood development and best practices in early childhood education. Experience in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. First aid certification/CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain certification is required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that supports children's learning and development.
