Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture the young minds in our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe classroom environment where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development will help foster a love of learning while supporting each child's unique growth trajectory. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives during their foundational years. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management Conduct child development assessments to tailor instruction and support early intervention when needed Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure child welfare standards are met at all times Lead activities that support toddler care, preschool readiness, and kindergarten preparation Manage classroom routines efficiently, including transitions, meal times, nap schedules, and outdoor play Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings or daycare environments Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively and compassionately Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Familiarity with special education needs and accommodations for diverse learners Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during all activities Experience teaching physical education and promoting healthy lifestyle habits among young children Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations Ability to foster a positive learning environment that supports social-emotional growth and literacy education Join our team to help shape the future by providing high-quality preschool education that empowers young children to thrive!
Pay:
$17.25 - $18.25 per hour
