Salary varies $21-$27 per hour based on experience and education credentials. Qualified Teaching Staff are eligible for up to $2,600 Bonus after 6 months. • Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate lesson plans for young children.
• Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.
• Making sure that the classroom is clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Ensure children are supervised at all times.
• Establish routines and provide positive guidance.
• Discuss children's development with parents. Qualifications
• Applicant must hold a Connecticut Head Teacher Certificate or will complete 12+ credits in Early Childhood Education within 1 year.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse staff and parents.
• Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed.
• CPR / First Aid certified.
• Experience working with or familiarity with NAEYC accreditation standards and practices.
