Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages starting at 6 weeks to 12 years of age. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, planning age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being at all times. Responsibilities Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times Plan and implement engaging, educational activities tailored to different age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Apply behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and development Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being Ensure a clean, organized environment that supports childhood development and learning Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles across various age groups Teaching experience with young children or youth programs is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in early childhood education is preferred Familiarity with classroom experience or activity planning for children enhances effectiveness in this role Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and childhood safety protocols Experience with working with children under the age of 12 months. Candidate must possess a strong work ethic and ability to work as a team with other employees Ability to work until 5:30 if need be 18 years of age or older

Pay:

$16.94 - $17.50 per hour
