Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans following our curriculum that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional growth Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, organized, and inclusive environment that supports child development instruction and behavior management. Engage children through interactive lessons focused on childhood development milestones Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental concerns, and foster strong home-school connections. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certification requirements. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, organize classroom resources, and participate in ongoing professional development related to teaching and childcare best practices. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or private schools; familiarity with toddler care is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development techniques, and classroom management strategies. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR; understanding of mandated reporting laws applicable to childcare providers. Ability to plan engaging lessons using lesson planning tools tailored for young children's learning stages. Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare.
