9678545-19707 Job Description Exciting opportunities are available supporting elementary education as a Paraprofessional in energetic kindergarten classrooms. This contract assignment begins as soon as possible and runs for approximately 60 days, offering valuable experience in a dynamic school environment. Youll work Monday through Friday for 35 hours each week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day. The role is entirely onsite, focused on providing essential programmatic support within kindergarten classrooms.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Delaware Paraeducator Permit in-hand (pending permits cannot be accepted; proof of active status is required) Experience in an elementary or early childhood educational setting strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively alongside teaching staff and children Ability to support differentiated instruction and behavioral management Willingness to obtain $85 CBC fingerprinting as a condition of employment Candidates with an RBT credential must arrange their own supervision outside of school hours if they wish to keep the certification active; this role is classified strictly as paraprofessional

Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom support for instructional activities, assisting teachers with daily lessons and tasks Support the social and behavioral needs of students, following established classroom procedures Help set up materials and keep the classroom environment organized and safe Foster a welcoming, positive atmosphere for students at all times Implement teacher-directed interventions and activities as needed
