Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Preschool Teachers to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. As a vital leader in our classroom, you will foster a nurturing, inclusive space that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for child development and commitment to creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities will help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the early learning experiences of preschoolers while collaborating closely with families and team members to ensure each child's success. Duties Opening the center and maintaining all licensing guidelines in the morning. Willingness to drive the van/bus to the elementary schools. Lead daily classroom activities, implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that support early childhood development milestones. Develop and adapt curriculum materials focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and proactive behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to build strong home-school partnerships. Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, incident reports, attendance records, and developmental assessments. Promote physical activity by integrating experience teaching physical education into daily routines. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom management experience is essential. Strong background in early childhood education principles with knowledge of childhood development stages. Demonstrated ability in curriculum development across various domains including literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and physical activity. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is required. Familiarity with classroom experience involving toddler care, behavior management strategies, standardized testing procedures, and childcare best practices. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate child welfare standards while fostering creativity and independence. Pay:
$15.50 - $16.50 per hour
