Job Description

I am seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Daycare Teacher/ Director's assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team at an in home daycare center. In this dynamic role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. Your leadership will ensure that each child receives personalized attention and high-quality care, setting the foundation for lifelong learning. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children. Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high standards of childcare and education. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications. Plan lessons that integrate childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and standardized testing when appropriate. Qualifications Cpr and required dcf hours Clean background Proven experience working with children. Must love working with toddlers/babies. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of special education needs Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development 45 dcf hours required! Pay:
$17.79 - $18.77 per hour
