Job Description

Preschool Lead Teacher - Toddlers & 3-Year-Olds Bilingual - English/Spanish Required Bright World Preschool is a growing early learning center dedicated to providing children with high-quality education, structured learning experiences, and a safe, loving, and nurturing environment. We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Preschool Lead Teachers for our Toddler and 3-Year-Old classrooms . We are looking for educators who understand that even our youngest learners benefit from intentional teaching, engaging activities, consistent routines, positive interactions, and lots of language and conversation throughout the day.

PM Pay:
Starting at $15/hour , based on experience
Overtime:
Available Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate daily lessons and activities Follow the center's curriculum and Florida Early Learning Standards Promote language, literacy, cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative development Provide intentional learning experiences through play, exploration, conversation, and hands-on activities Support English- and Spanish-speaking children with language development Prepare 3-year-old students with foundational skills needed for Pre-K and future kindergarten success Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive behavior expectations Observe children's development and document progress Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Complete required classroom documentation accurately and on time Communicate professionally with parents in English and Spanish Provide families with appropriate updates regarding their child's learning and development Work collaboratively with administration, teachers, and support staff Follow all center policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety procedures Requirements Bilingual English/Spanish - REQUIRED Minimum 1 year of preschool or childcare classroom experience preferred Experience working with children ages 1-3 strongly preferred Strong classroom-management and organizational skills Ability to plan and lead age-appropriate educational activities Dependable, professional, patient, energetic, and nurturing Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for early childhood education CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Must meet Florida childcare background-screening and employment requirements Benefits Paid holidays after 90 days 40 hours of paid time off after 1 year Free childcare for your children Performance-based bonuses Overtime opportunities Professional development and training support Supportive administration and leadership Positive team environment Opportunities for growth as our preschool continues to expand Work Location Bright World Preschool & Childcare Center North Fort Myers, Florida In-person position Join the Bright World Team!
