Position Summary:
We are seeking a warm, patient, and energetic One's Teacher to join our dedicated team. This position is responsible for providing a safe, developmentally appropriate, and engaging classroom experience for children ages 2-5. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, love working with toddlers, and thrive in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. Provide responsive, respectful, and nurturing care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting children. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that reflects a child-centered, play-based approach. Observe and assess each child's development and communicate progress with families through daily reports and conferences. Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and health regulations. Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required. Collaborate with co-teachers and school leadership to maintain a harmonious and supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience working with children under 2 years old in a licensed childcare center. Knowledge of child development principles and developmentally appropriate practices. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and be on your feet throughout the day. Passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing quality early education.
