Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this dynamic role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored specifically for toddlers. Duties Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills aligned with early childhood education standards. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for toddlers. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster strong home-school partnerships. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure consistent quality of care and instruction. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications. Support individualized learning plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services to promote optimal development. Skills Extensive experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting, with a focus on toddler care. Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood milestones, and age-specific teaching strategies. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with early intervention programs, special education needs, and literacy education methods. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to adhere to state licensing requirements, mandated reporting laws, and health protocols such as first aid and CPR. Experience incorporating Montessori or other specialized educational philosophies into daily activities is preferred. Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
