Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated PM Floater (12 pm - 6 pm) to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this versatile role, you will provide essential support across classrooms, ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering a nurturing environment for young children. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help maintain high-quality care and educational standards, making a positive impact on children's development and their families. Responsibilities Assist classroom teachers with daily activities, including child supervision, behavior management, and instructional support in accordance with developmental best practices. Support the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on childhood development, preschool learning, and early education principles. Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, while maintaining a secure environment for children. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily updates to foster strong partnerships. Help with classroom setup, organization, and cleaning to create an engaging and hygienic learning space. Cover shifts as needed across multiple classrooms or age groups, providing consistent care for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers. Support compliance with mandated reporting laws and other regulatory requirements related to childcare and early childhood education. Qualifications Experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar early childhood settings. Knowledge of classroom management and behavior management strategies. Certifications such as First Aid, Pediatric First Aid, CPR, or Childcare certifications are highly preferred. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Previous experience in nannying or babysitting young children is advantageous. Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs within a daycare or preschool environment while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm. DCF 40+ hours, plus preservice courses- Required!
