We are currently seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities. Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Supervise and interact positively with students throughout the day. Assist with meals, playground supervision, nap time, and classroom organization. Encourage positive behavior and model Christian values. Communicate professionally with staff and families. Follow all DCF licensing requirements and Sonshine School policies. Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of the required 45 DCF Training Hours is preferred (or willingness to complete them within the required timeframe). CPR & First Aid Certification (Infant, Child, and Adult) is preferred or must be obtained. Must pass all required background screenings.
