Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing environment for children while engaging them in educational and recreational activities. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for the care and supervision of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in various activities to promote learning and development. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Implement age-appropriate educational activities that support early childhood learning. Manage behavior in a positive manner using effective behavior management techniques. Maintain a clean and safe environment for children at all times. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Assist children with daily routines such as meals, naps, and playtime. Foster an inclusive atmosphere by working with children with disabilities or special needs. Requirements Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Ability to provide first aid when necessary; certification in first aid is preferred. Strong skills in teaching basic concepts through play and structured activities. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive interactions. Experience in toddler care, infant care, or caregiving roles is highly valued. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents. A nurturing attitude with the ability to create a supportive environment for all children.
