Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of children, including preschoolers and toddlers Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and social-emotional growth Manage daily classroom activities, including circle time, play-based learning, arts and crafts, and physical activities such as early childhood physical education Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of children's attendance and developmental assessments Support children with special educational needs through individualized instruction and early intervention strategies Promote literacy education and basic math concepts through interactive lessons and hands-on activities Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood education best practices, and classroom management techniques Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, including toddler care and preschool teaching Ability to develop curriculum that incorporates literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive behavior in young children Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork with colleagues Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, and child welfare standards to ensure safety at all times Experience with classroom experience involving standardized testing or assessments is a plus Ability to adapt lesson plans for children with special needs or requiring early intervention services Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and compliance documentation Join us in shaping the future by nurturing young learners in a dynamic, supportive environment!
