Grayson Academy is currently seeking a dependable Toddler Teacher to join our One-Year-Old classroom for our closing shift from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM . As a Toddler Teacher, you will work alongside the daytime teaching team before assuming responsibility for the classroom during the afternoon and evening. You will provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment while supporting children's social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development through hands-on learning and daily routines. Compensation Grayson Academy utilizes a structured compensation system based on verified Georgia Professional Development System (GA PDS) Career Levels to ensure fairness and consistency for all employees. Starting pay is determined by your verified credentials and GA PDS Career Level. Starting Hourly Rate Level 1: $12.00 Level 2: $13.00 Level 3: $14.00 Level 4: $15.00 Level 5 & 6: $16.00 Level 7: $17.00 Level 8: $18.00 Level 9: $19.00 Level 10: $20.00 Additional Compensation Employees scheduled to work closing shifts ending at 8:00 PM receive an additional $1.00 per hour closing shift differential. GA PDS Career Level must be verified through the Georgia Professional Development System to receive the corresponding starting pay. Annual performance evaluations are conducted, with merit-based raises based on overall job performance and evaluation scores. Responsibilities Provide attentive care and active supervision for one-year-old children. Assist with diapering, potty training readiness, meals, nap time, and daily routines. Support children's social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development. Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities and learning experiences. Build positive relationships with children and their families. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom. Assume responsibility for the classroom during the afternoon and complete all closing duties. Follow Bright from the Start licensing regulations, Quality Rated standards, and Grayson Academy policies. Communicate effectively with coworkers and families regarding each child's day. Is This You?
