Overview Williamstown Methodist Church is seeking a nursery attendant each Sunday from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. •This position is for 2 hours per week. Salary will be a set amount to remain consistent•Typically there will be one to five children ages one through four in the class. A church member will be assisting the paid nursery attendant if needed. Duties entail teaching a short lesson (lesson provided), assisting with a craft (crafts provided), having snack time (snacks provided) and then watching children during playtime. This is an ideal position for someone looking for a few extra hours of income each week. Please provide three character references we can contact. A selected applicant will have to undergo a background check paid for by the church. Duties Supervise and engage with children during play and learning activities Ensure the safety of all children by maintaining vigilant supervision and adhering to child supervision protocols Communicate effectively with parents and guardians Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Join us in creating a joyful learning space where every child feels valued.
