Job Description
The Oakling School is looking for a caring, experienced, and dependable Lead Preschool/Pre-K Teacher to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who loves working with young children and wants to create a warm, engaging classroom where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum for preschool/pre-K children. Create a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance. Communicate professionally and warmly with families. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and required documentation. Work collaboratively with assistant teachers and the school leadership team. Follow all state licensing requirements and school policies. Qualifications Previous experience working with preschool or pre-K children preferred. Lead teaching experience in an early childhood setting preferred. CDA, Associate's, Bachelor's degree, or other early childhood education credentials are a plus. Strong communication and classroom-management skills. Dependable, patient, caring, and professional. A genuine passion for helping young children learn and grow.
