Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development will help foster a love of learning while supporting each child's unique growth trajectory. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and physical development, including Montessori and other educational philosophies. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate child development principles, standardized testing where applicable, and innovative teaching methods such as hands-on activities and interactive learning. Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations, documentation, and assessments aligned with early childhood education standards. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development, milestones, and any behavioral or learning concerns. Ensure classroom safety by adhering to health guidelines, maintaining cleanliness, and practicing first aid and CPR when necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to support inclusive education practices, including special education needs and early intervention strategies for diverse learners. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom experience is highly valued. Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR; ongoing training in childhood welfare is preferred. Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, physical education activities, and standardized testing procedures. Experience working with toddlers or in Montessori or similar early childhood educational environments is a plus. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Demonstrated enthusiasm for early childhood education with a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Pay:
