Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Worker to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will support children's developmental needs through attentive supervision, activity planning, and effective communication with parents and guardians. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education and caregiving will help foster positive growth experiences for each child, ensuring their well-being and happiness in our care. Duties Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and emotional development Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any signs of abuse or neglect to appropriate authorities Ensure all childcare practices adhere to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR protocols when necessary Experience Prior experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Demonstrated experience in early childhood education or classroom settings such as daycare or preschool environments Proven ability to develop engaging activity plans tailored to different developmental stages Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred Previous nannying or babysitting experience showcasing responsibility in child supervision and caregiving roles Join us as a Child Care Worker to inspire young minds, support families, and contribute to the joyful growth of children through energetic engagement and compassionate care!
Pay:
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
