Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children Support early childhood development through engaging teaching methods and activity planning tailored to each child's needs Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child safety or well-being Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations while remaining calm and professional Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage respectful interactions and emotional regulation Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Be able to fully work the job during your scheduled hours and days. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is required, but will be able to obtain after employment ; ongoing training is required Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, demonstrating adaptability and inclusive caregiving skills Strong communication skills between parents, guardians, and team members Ability to plan engaging activities that support physical, emotional, and cognitive growth On the job training will be required Join us in providing compassionate care in a Christian setting that nurtures children's potential!
