Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Provider to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young children. In this vital role, you will support early childhood development by implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring child safety, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and team members. Your energy and enthusiasm will help lay the foundation for children's growth and learning during their formative years. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while working in a dynamic childcare setting. Responsibilities Supervise and care for children in a nursery or daycare environment, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and facilitate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies Support children with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care needs Adhere to mandated reporting laws by documenting any concerns related to child welfare or behavior management issues Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or early childhood education programs Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is highly preferred but will need to be completed shortly after hired. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Ability to follow safety regulations and maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with young children during their critical developmental stages Pass and Iowa and Federal Background checks. Pay:
$13.00 - $13.25 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
