Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of infants and toddlers by providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education, combined with your ability to connect with young children, will help foster their growth and curiosity. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development for infants and toddlers Ensure the safety and supervision of children at all times, maintaining vigilant awareness of their needs and behaviors Support daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play with patience and care Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to foster strong relationships Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure setting for children Support classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and social skills among young children Qualifications Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare, daycare center, preschool, or nannying setting is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork Ability to manage classroom activities confidently while maintaining a nurturing environment Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Passion for early childhood education and caregiving with a lively, energetic approach Join us in creating joyful learning experiences for our youngest learners! Pay:
$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
