Lead Preschool Teacher Inspired Kids Academy - Van Meter, IA Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Inspired Kids Academy is looking for an exceptional Lead Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom . We are seeking someone who believes that children thrive with consistent routines, clear expectations, and engaging learning experiences . What You'll Do Create a structured, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment. Develop and maintain consistent daily routines that help children feel safe and successful. Set clear expectations and positively guide children to follow classroom routines and behavioral expectations. Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that promote kindergarten readiness. Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Follow all Iowa licensing regulations and Inspired Kids Academy policies. Work collaboratively with your teaching team to create an exceptional preschool experience. We're Looking For Someone Who... Has a passion for working with preschool-aged children. Understands that consistency and routine are essential for young learners. Can confidently lead a classroom while maintaining a calm, positive, and encouraging atmosphere. Is organized, dependable, and takes pride in creating an engaging learning environment. Has excellent communication and teamwork skills. Brings energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to each day. Can balance fun with structure while helping children build independence and self-confidence. Qualifications Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred. Background in Early Childhood Education or Child Development required. Must meet Iowa childcare licensing requirements. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
