Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will support children's developmental needs through attentive supervision, activity planning, and effective communication with parents. Duties Supervise and teach children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Support childhood development through teaching basic skills, behavior management, and encouraging positive interactions Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Maintain a clean and organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards Follow mandated reporting laws by documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare promptly and accurately Qualifications Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued Strong activity planning skills tailored to various developmental stages Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a positive environment Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with daycare or classroom experience is advantageous Demonstrated understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare Join us as a Child Care Provider to make a lasting impact on children's lives by providing compassionate care, engaging activities, and supportive guidance. Pay:
$9.50 - $12.50 per hour
