Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Pre-K Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire a love of learning and support healthy development in preschool-aged children. In this dynamic role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and collaborate closely with families to ensure each child's success. Your energetic approach and dedication will help lay a strong foundation for children's future academic and social growth. Duties Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Manage daily classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Use effective behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and self-regulation among students. Conduct ongoing assessments of child development to tailor instruction and support early intervention when needed. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding progress, behavior, and classroom events to foster strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student progress and incidents. Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary lessons and participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development and early childhood education best practices. Skills Extensive experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or toddler care. Strong knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management, behavior management, and early intervention strategies. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education alongside math and physical education activities. Familiarity with childhood welfare standards, standardized testing procedures, and first aid/CPR certification. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within a diverse educational environment. Ability to adapt teaching methods for special education needs and apply inclusive practices in the classroom. Experience with private school environments or similar educational settings is a plus. Pay:
$19.50 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
