Job Description

As a Lead Teacher at KinderCare's Glenview Knowledge Beginnings, you will guide a classroom of young children through engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. You will design and implement curriculum that nurtures social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth while maintaining a safe, caring environment. Partnering closely with families, you'll communicate progress, support individual needs, and celebrate milestones. You will model KinderCare's inclusive, collaborative culture, mentor assistant teachers, uphold health and safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of center programs. Responsibilities Lead and manage an early childhood classroom in accordance with Kinder Care standards and state regulations. Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Observe and document children's progress and adapt instruction to individual needs. Build strong, collaborative relationships with families through regular communication. Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and licensing requirements. Mentor and guide assistant teachers and classroom support staff. Collaborate with center leadership and peers to support continuous program improvement.
