Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills tailored to each child's developmental stage Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and tailor instructional strategies accordingly Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share updates on their child's growth, behavior, and learning milestones Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of incidents or concerns Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate hands-on activities, play-based learning, and early intervention techniques Maintain a safe classroom environment by adhering to health and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare or preschool environments Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early education best practices Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention programs to support diverse learners Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential Ability to work with children across various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a supportive learning atmosphere Join us in shaping bright futures!
