Must have a high school diploma or GED. About us The Tree House Early Learning is a high-quality, creative, safe, and engaging environment for children ages birth to 5 years. We support the development of children through fun, creative, and engaging activities. We are the only center in Southeast Kansas that uses the Reggio Emilia approach. Not familiar with Reggio Emilia? Don't worry we'll train you! [Job Title] Part-Time Early Childhood Teacher [Job Summary] This is a part-time position M-F 7:15am-9:15am and then 3:30 pm-5:30pm for a total of 4 hours a day 5 days a week. [Responsibilities] Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children Help children maintain good hygiene Clean up after meals Additional cleaning/organizing as necessary. [Requirements] Must have Highschool Diploma or GED. Experience in a childcare center or preschool setting is preferred. Must be able to lift over 30 lbs. Must be able to get down on the floor with the children. Must be able to pass a background check. [Preferred Qualifications] 1 or more years of experience in a professional childcare setting. CDA credential Certificate, AA or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field.
