Lead PreK Teacher

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PreK (age 3-5yrs) Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively. The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for developing age-appropriate curricula that align with educational standards while ensuring the well-being of each child in their care. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Monitor and assess children's progress. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development, behavior, and any concerns. Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices. Provide early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support in their learning journey. Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards. Foster positive relationships with students to promote child welfare and emotional well-being. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children in a daycare or classroom setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and practices. Ability to develop engaging curricula that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of early intervention techniques to support children's individual needs. A commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity among students.
