Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Daycare Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team! Duties Assist in supervising children across different age groups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support lead teachers with classroom activities, including child supervision, play-based learning, and developmental instruction Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster social-emotional growth and developmental milestones Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences and progress Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws Provide coverage for classrooms as needed, stepping into lead or assistant roles to ensure continuous supervision and support Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and social interactions Familiarity with pediatric first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures (training provided if needed) Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Previous nannying or babysitting experience involving infants, toddlers, or young children is advantageous Join us in creating joyful learning experiences for children while developing your skills in early childhood education!
