Responsibilities Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development Create a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and independence Observe and document each child's progress, interests, and needs to tailor activities accordingly Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members through clear communication and teamwork Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and health & safety standards at all times Support children's emotional well-being by providing comfort, reassurance, and encouragement Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, diapering, and transitions Experience Prior experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong understanding of child development principles and age-specific needs Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with children, parents, and colleagues Ability to remain energetic, patient, attentive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment Certification in CPR/First Aid is an asset; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required
