Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their development through engaging activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning. Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Manage classroom activities effectively, maintaining a positive and structured environment. Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior and encourage positive interactions. Engage in daily communication with parents regarding their child's progress, activities, and any concerns. Foster an inclusive atmosphere by working with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities or special needs. Supervise playtime and outdoor activities to ensure safety while encouraging socialization and teamwork among children. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to create a welcoming learning space. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is essential. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in preschool education or toddler care is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid practices is preferred; certification may be required. Familiarity with special education techniques or experience working with students with disabilities is a plus. Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
