Job Description
Caregivers & Support Maintain safe, healthy environment for children always. Actively engage in daily activities and routines with children. Assist in observation, recording and assessing each child's individual growth and development. Maintain all certifications as required. Ensure compliance with all Michigan Department of Human Services and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) rules and regulations. All staff members Responsibilities & duties include, but are not limited to: Having a happy demeanor and a fair attitude. Practicing positive discipline Acting as a behavior model Providing emotional and physical support for the child Guiding the children through the curriculum and schedule Assist in serving lunch and snack, Assist in potty training and hand washing, Change diapers, Keep logs of the children's activities, Guide the kids in their actions toward others, Lead in outdoor and indoor activities, Sit down and teach them through play, Be a source of positive reinforcement in their lives. Provide an environment that ensures the health and safety of the kids Thorough cleaning and sanitation Some laundry Parent interactions
