We are seeking a skilled and energetic lead teacher to manage the care and education of 3 year old preschool students alongside an assistant. We are thrilled to have you consider joining our exceptional team and utilize your skills here as an early childhood educator serving our community. Experience as a lead teacher is required. Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or related field required or in progress. Full time, year-round work to begin mid-August. Pay is dependent on education and experience. Benefits include Health Care, HRA, 403b match, vacation and sick pay, and other paid leave. Skills include but are not limited to:

• Understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate expectations for children
• Effective behavior management strategies to support social-emotional growth
• Create and implement age-appropriate lessons covering all domains of development including bible lessons.
• Make observations and keep student anecdotes to guide lesson planning
• Use anecdotal records for TS Gold Assessments to be shared at parent teacher conferences
• Attend professional development and teacher meetings
• Work alongside and collaborate with assistant teacher toward classroom goals
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Show children the love of Christ and act as a Christian role model including a lifestyle conducive to the Christian faith.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years Must be able to pass a fingerprint check Must have CPR/First Aid or willing to obtain upon hire Must have experience as a Lead Teacher Must have one of the following:

• A Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or related field.

(Michigan teaching certificate not required). Must be able to provide a pastoral reference from attending church Must enjoy children!!!
