Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher for our 3 year old program. Our 3 year old program runs Monday-Friday, 9 am to 12 pm. Your working schedule would be 8: 30 to 12:30. -You would inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. -You will design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. We would like to start implementing the High Scope curriculum with our 3 year old class, to prepare them for our GSRP 4 year old classroom. Your passion for working with children will help create a positive foundation for lifelong learning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives. Responsibilities Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate lesson plans. Foster a safe classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of each child. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective behavior management strategies. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support each child's individual needs. Incorporate classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and respect among students. Support children's welfare by ensuring their physical safety, hygiene, and overall well-being during preschool hours. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development. Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare or private school setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development milestones. Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with families and colleagues. Familiar with the High Scope curriculum.
